Marijn & Julia | Concertgebouw Amsterdam

On Sunday, December 15th, 2024, Marijn Cinjee (electronic musician) and Julia Sinclair (soprano soloist) presented their new album Wind Takes Flight live at the sold-out Concertgebouw in Amsterdam as the closing act for Aural Spaces festival.

The album takes inspiration from  12th-century works of Hildegard of Bingen, combined with modern electronic soundscapes. The performance was presented in an impressive 40.4 spatial audio system, elevating the experience even further.

Concertgoers were also treated to a surprise CD, Constellation EP, which contains four tracks from the upcoming Wind Takes Flight album

The full album "Wind Takes Flight" will release in July 2025 on digital, CD, vinyl, and Dolby Atmos formats.

"For this performance, we had the pleasure of collaborating closely with light artist Nick Verstand, who created a spellbinding atmospheric design, elevating the experience for our audience."
