Mindf#ck! is an  interactive spatial sound composition made for 8 loudspeakers.

Musical elements are controlled by the motion of dancers using live position tracking.

Concept

"M!ndf#ck jr." is a performance about the workings of the human consciousness. It's about thinking and dreaming, about feeling, about possibilities, and illusions. And about how you simply get up every day.

The performance starts in a world that is recognizable, where our minds still function clearly. But gradually, this concrete world gives way to one of dreams and a diminished state of consciousness. Fears and desires become increasingly visible, and somewhere in the distance, the light of a new day begins to shine.
