4DSOUND Technologies.

4DSOUND is a unique Spatial Audio platform built for creativity and live musical experiences. We create custom hardware and software in-house to deliver immersive sound. Artists receive support to compose and perform in 4DSOUND studios worldwide, such as MONOM (Berlin), Lobe (Vancouver), Spatial Sound Institute (Budapest), or popup studios like Stone-Nest (London) and Sonic Cinema (Paris). 4DSOUND has fostered an international community of artists, researchers, and spatial sound enthusiasts.

EDUCATION AND DOCUMENTATION

An important focus is on training artists to use the medium of spatial sound as a creative instrument. After some years of investigating different composition techniques for the system, the mission has become to pass on this knowledge in the form of training and publications for the 4DSOUND Community.

Elvágyódás

Elvágyódás is a Hungarian word with no direct English translation. It captures a wanting to be away, not necessarily in a different place, but just a desire to be elsewhere.
